The Asia International Language Center was established by Akira Toyama (current director) in 1993 and specializes in Japanese language education.
- Accredited by the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in Japan
- Designated as a proper school by the Tokyo Immigration Bureau
- Certified by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education
- Designated as a cooperating school by Kanagawa Prefecture
- A member of the Japanese Language School Federation
